Marmalade's Bistro has been a popular restaurant in Sheringham Norfolk for both locals and visitors for over 15 years. It's delightful mix of classic British food, along side friendly, passionate staff equals thousands of satisfied customers.

Husband and wife team, Sarah and Ian Collarbone are incredibly excited to have taken ownership of this fabulous 30 seat restaurant.

The restaurant is classy, but comfortable. It boasts a classic look, with dark wood and comfortable padded leather chairs. The bright open space has a timeless appeal.
Evenings provide a warm, relaxed atmosphere for customers. The intimate layout is perfect for private moments, whilst still enabling patrons to share in Sarah's friendly, open approach to service.

Sarah has lived in Sheringham for the majority of her life and has many happy family memories of Marmalade's. Sarah's family have been regulars at the Bistro since it opened and she is delighted to own a piece of her family's history.

Sarah provides the friendly front of house, whilst her husband Ian is cooking up delicious meals in the kitchen. Ian, originally from Kent, has enjoyed working in numerous local eateries including The Pepper Pot in West Runton and The Dales Country House Hotel in Upper Sheringham. Ian is incredibly grateful for the advice and training from the chefs there.

The couple, who married in May 2015 at Upper Sheringham Village Church, are eager to build on the success of previous owners Ben and Julie Mutton. There are some delightful new additions to the menu to showcase Ian's flair and passion for cooking, but the old favourites such as bread and butter pudding continue to provide the familiar comfort of the restaurant.

Sarah and Ian have both enjoyed travelling and working in China for the last couple of years, but now they're ready to settle down and enjoy the Norfolk life and fresh Sheringham sea air.

All food is home made and freshly cooked to order, using locally sourced ingredients and seasonal produce. Ian is particularly proud of his relationships with local suppliers and the menu is adapted regularly to showcase the best ingredients in the most creative and tasty way possible.

Open six days a week, for lunch and dinner, Marmalade's is a fully licensed restaurant serving a wide variety of alcohol, including a fine wine list and the best local ales. It is also available to hire for private functions and parties, catering for up to thirty people.
