I’m Gluten free, what are my options?

Ian designs the menu with dietary requirements in mind, the majority of our menu is naturally gluten free. Any dishes marked with “GF” on the menu are already gluten free, or can be adapted to suit you. We only have one deep fat fryer which is sometimes used for gluten products, please check with your server before ordering your meal. Please let us know of any dietary requirements in advance if possible, so we can be prepared and ready to accommodate your needs.

Are you open for lunch?

Marmalade’s offer dinner service only, we open from 6pm. We may open for one-off lunches for large groups, please e-mail us to enquire.

Are you dog friendly?

We love dogs, but unfortunately don’t allow dogs in the bistro. The space is just too small, sorry. (Assistance / service dogs are welcome).

Are you child friendly, what facilities do you have?

All ages are welcome at Marmalade’s. We have booster seats available which are suitable from around 6-9 months old. Sadly we don’t currently offer baby changing facilities. Please let us know on booking how many children are in your group and their ages so we can make sure the youngster’s menu is available and any highchairs/extra space is ready and waiting for you on arrival. We also have a small selection of colouring supplies. Please bear in mind we are not blessed with much space.

Do you cater for vegans?

We often have vegan options on our menu, however please do let us know in advance so we can make sure there’s a delicious choice for you.

What forms of payment do you accept?

You can pay by cash, card or a combination of both. For larger groups it is really helpful to know how you would like to pay and if you need to split the bill in advance, this makes writing your bill and taking payment run smoothly.

Is there parking nearby?

There is parking for about 6 cars outside the Bistro on Church Street, and Morris Street car park is just a moment’s walk away and very easily accessible.

Can I buy a gift voucher?

Yes, we can make our vouchers out to any amount. You are welcome to pay by card over the phone, or in person. Let us know what message to include and where to post the voucher, they will usually be popped in the post on the same day.

It’s a special occasion for my friend/family member, can I pay for their wine/meal?

Of course, we love to be in on a surprise! Just give us a call in advance of their booking and we can discuss options. We can take payment over the phone in person. We will happily include a card/label with a message.

Can you help me decorate the table?

We will always do our best to make your evening with us special and memorable. We are happy to help set up decorations if these are dropped off in advance – Just let us know, or we can supply banners/balloons at a cost. The only thing we ask is that you avoid table confetti. Give us a call or e-mail to discuss your requirements.

Can we bring a Birthday cake?

Yes, we are more than happy to present your cake and candles and a round of “Happy Birthday” at the end of your meal, usually before we serve your desserts. We would then re-box your cake for you to take away. Call or e-mail to discuss cake based logistics.
